This suggestion scheme, though individual-oriented ( not team-oriented), enshrines the basic principles of TQM, namely

1. Respect for humanity

2. Involvement of employees

3. Faster response of the organization to satisfy its customers ( the originators of suggestions)

Hence, it is only befitting to call the scheme as "Total Quality" suggestion scheme (TQSS)
